Building Safety Act 2022
The implementation of the Building Safet Act 2022 has been a bit of a sluggish affair but things are now gathering momentum as the regulators have a better understanding of entire situation.
We are currently working with our partners to help accountable persons prepare their Safety Cases. We then produce Safety Case Reports to enable them to register their buildings and apply for a Building Assessment Certificate.

Section 156 of The Building Safety Act
It is likely for many businesses that they will now require fire safety plans to be drawn up to assist in providing documented safety measures for there premises (both commercial and residential).
The reason why drawings will be required for many is that the government guidance states that the information needs to be easily understandable. This means that you will need to assess the audience of the document and where required, provide information that caters for people with learning disabilities or where English is not their first language.
Our CAD team will be providing these drawings.

The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022
The fire and rescue services continue to crack down on drawings that are not suitable, advising that they should comply with the Code of Practice that has been produced by the FIA and NFCC jointly.
If your drawings are not compliant with the CoP, our CAD team can help you with this.
Also, if you are uncertain if your building is covered under these regulations, please feel free to contact us for advice.
